The mission for our client was to attract 400+ of their top clients for the second year running. The event needed to provide networking opportunities, product demo stations, immersive product experiential stands, VR experiences and a complex plenary space for business objectives.
In a central London location, the venue needed to be WOW. A blank canvas, modern and slick. Hotels and standard ballrooms were not an option. Above all, this needed to be top-notch, every guest needed to experience the real VIP treatment. Oh, and as we would be measuring our carbon imprint, this needed to offer record-breaking levels of sustainability.
Having created something so incredibly popular and pioneering last year, we had a tough act to follow. Only totally new ideas would transform the guest experience to something beyond exceptional. Working closely with our client we agreed that success hinged on the venue transformation and new guest journey. If we could find the right space, with just the right x-factor, everything else would fall into place.
We set about finding an incredible yet environmentally-sound space. One that felt on brand with the event design concepts, and could also work well with the clients own brand look and feel.
We would consider every angle and cover every detail, from the main hall to the networking areas; creating engaging demo hubs and activation stations through to intimate workshop areas. We would then add the creative edge. Transforming the venue with just the right lighting, staging, entrance decor, catering, entertainment – every aspect of the guest journey.
This would be a sustainably-sourced feast for the senses.

Pre-event, excitement spread fast. The client even had to extend the guest list as it was so in demand. The event itself elicited brilliant feedback both onsite and afterwards. However, by far our biggest success were the sustainability stats. As a venue, the Tate Modern was a great choice, using 100% renewable energy, it reduced our electricity impact from 0.52tCO2e to 0.04tCO23!
